Navkshitij is a home away from home. But they haven’t achieved this overnight. Raj was the first student of the residential workshop and I have seen it grow brick by brick. I have witnessed the hard work, dedication and love that’s gone into the foundation for it to be so strong today.

No words can describe the staff’s commitment to provide a better life for our challenged friends. From timely medicines, clean premises, good wholesome food, quality entertainment and above all the sense of belongingness and love that our children get there is worth appreciating.

Trouble came when the storm destroyed their premises. But kudos to the staff and the students. The storm could not destroy their courage and hope. They all worked together to get it up and running in a few days. They have got used to having to work out solutions to everyday problems during their initial growing years.

Navkshitij staff are the unsung heroes for our kids. They strive day and night to make that place a home. I am thankful for all that they have done and pray that all stay safe and together during this pandemic.
