Dr. C. R. Desai was the natural choice to take over as Founder President of Navkshitij after Dr. Neelima Desai. He comes equipped with two qualifications: he is the father of a mentally challenged friend, Aditi, who resides in Navkshitij; and, he is a medical doctor.

Mr. C. E. Potnis has more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in global companies. He has served on the boards of companies in India, Dubai and Muscat. He is the founder and managing director of Nitor Infotech Pvt. Ltd., a global IT services company headquartered in Pune.
Mr. Potnis is an alumnus of IIT (Bombay) and holds an M.Sc. degree.

Currently the CEO of a real estate development firm, Mr. Suneel Kulkarni has over 35 years of experience in managing mega projects.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an ICWA (I) certification.

Mrs. Vasudha Divekar ensures the smooth functioning of the Navkshitij residential campus. She was an active volunteer at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and Prism Foundation. She has worked with Dr. Shirish Ratnaparkhi for the well-being of mentally ill patients and with Jaishree Phadke for the welfare of slum children.
She is a Rashtrabhasha Pandit. She holds a Secondary Teacher’s Course certificate and a Certificate in Physical Education.

Adv Sujata Kulkarni holds an LL.M and a Diploma in Cyber Laws from the Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune. She has been practising civil law and arbitration matters since 1996.

Mrs. Kanaka Cadambi is a senior editor at Clearly Blue Digital, a Bangalore-based knowledge services firm. She has 35 years of experience in the publishing industry. She has been associated with Fortune 500 companies, global content management companies, national newspapers, community weeklies and publishing houses.
She holds a master’s degree in English literature and a post-graduate diploma in journalism.

Mr. Anirudha Todkar, BE (Mechanical), MBA (Marketing and Finance), is the MD of MAPS Industries India Private Limited. He is also the founder president of the Rashtra Dharma Foundation and the current regional secretary (Sampark) of Bharat Vikas Parishad (Maharashtra West, Vidharbh and Devgiri). He has successfully completed the coveted IRONMAN challenge, involving 3.8 km of ocean swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42 km of running, all within 17 hours, in Malaysia, in November 2019.

An MBA in Marketing, Prof. Smita Shetty has been teaching management subjects in various colleges in Pune since 2001. She was the chairman and a member of the Board of Studies, University of Pune (UoP). She has been an examiner, paper setter and moderator at UoP. She is an expert in Entrepreneurship Development and Services Marketing Management.
Prof. Smita also holds a black belt in Lean Six Sigma.

The late Dr. Neelima Desai was the first founder president of Navkshitij. Her name was synonymous with Navkshitij. She laid a strong foundation, nurtured the organisation with love and steered it with action-oriented leadership. She passed away on December 28, 2021, and is now our guiding spirit.
