Awareness Programmes
for Students & Corporates
Community Awareness Programme:
We offer a Community Awareness Program at our campus for college and school students, as well as corporate employees. This program educates participants about intellectual disabilities, highlighting the challenges faced by PwIDs, their educational and vocational, emotional needs. Each year, over 1,000 students and corporate employees participate in this initiative.
Collaborative Events:
We host Community Rehabilitation (CRE) programs in collaboration with the Rehabilitation Council of India, engaging over 200 teachers and rehabilitation professionals in each session. Our partnerships with NGOs, government departments, and organizations facilitate various awareness initiatives and activities, such as health check-up camps and talent showcase, including music and dance competitions for our special friends. These events not only promote engagement but also celebrate the abilities and achievements of PwIDs.
Volunteer & Internship Opportunities:
We offer volunteer opportunities for people who are interested in working with persons with intellectual disabilities (PwIDs). Additionally, we provide internships for college students from various fields, including MBA, law, social work, and engineering. These experiences not only allow participants to gain valuable skills but also create a social space in their minds.
Future Development Plans:
We are working on establishing a Center Head course with a six-month duration, aimed at creating new leaders in the field.
